[ STORY ]
Korone Pochi is an independent virtual singer: no
agency, just a mouse avatar, a microphone and an
alarmingly sweet voice. The name comes from the little
swirl on the character's head.
The channel is mostly covers and singing streams, from
anime songs to pop and hip-hop, often done a cappella.
The breakthrough came on Valentine's Day 2020 with a
cover of "Poppin' Candy☆Fever!", which became the most
watched video on the channel.
Originals followed, like "ぱぴぷぴぷぴぱ" by denpa
composer Risshuu. In autumn 2021 Pochi and Nanahira
released a whole joint album, Say Cheese!, with songs by
Camellia, Risshuu and Neko Hacker. Two of the highest
voices in the scene on one CD: handle with care.
