Does: vocalist: denpa, moe songs, high-energy pop
Circle: ちょこっとだけ。 (Chokotto Dake)
Partner: composer Risshuu (立秋), circle コトノハルカナ
[ STORY ]
Choko is a vocalist known for a bright, natural singing
voice on denpa and moe songs. Most of the work comes out
as "Risshuu feat. Choko": Risshuu writes and produces,
Choko sings, and together they made some of the
best-known denpa of recent years.
Many of their songs started as composer contest entries.
"プナイプナイせんそう" was an entry for G2R2018, and
"竹" (Take, "Bamboo") placed 4th in the individual
ranking of BOFXVI in 2020. Despite sounding completely
unhinged, its lyrics are a cheerful list of bamboo facts
and history.
"竹" passed 4 million plays on YouTube and ended up in a
long list of rhythm games, including Arcaea, Muse Dash,
maimai, CHUNITHM, ONGEKI and SOUND VOLTEX. Every Risshuu
song in Taiko no Tatsujin is sung by Choko too.
